I agree. I mean, I’m having a tough time keeping up with H!P right now, because none of the recent music has been sitting with me right, but that just means I find the current stuff boring. I’m still going to rock the fuck out to some Buono! in my car. Boring != the need to bash everything bawwww.
Actually, I feel this way sometimes too. Though I admit to this kind of “phasing” in music interests. I’m probably more into H!P than I was at any point in my life, even if I still “miss” the old days. I suppose it’s just a phase that everyone will go through as they find new fresh things to shake things up.

mintii already told me that SHOCK! is being released in January, but I think it’s fine to leave it in this poll. It certainly won’t win anything at the end of 2010 with an entire year of material wiping away everyone’s memory of it.
LOL This made me realized that I haven’t even listened to 85% of what H!P has released this year D: I just kind of… watched the PV for MADAYADE and lost hope on my dear Berryz. I should definitely go and watch everything on this list ASAP
I voted for Buono in everything, because, seriously, they are the awesomest piece of awesomeness in the world
Shugo Chara Egg! is also among the main H!P groups, though I guess they’re more on the second tier (according to the official H!P artist list, at least). I assume you’re excluding H!P Taiwan and the Elder Club, but SCE! seems to belong up there with Buono! and Guardians 4. They did have a single out earlier this year (”Shugo Shugo!”).
Disclaimer: It wasn’t me who voted for Mano being the DNW-est. However, regarding the best PBs, *if* only Takahashi, Airi, and Hagiwara were the possible options, I’d vote for Hagiwara.
Quite honestly, I doubt anyone really wanted to pick Mano Erina as my least favorite in some of the categories, it was just that she was the *least* favorite of the choices. And they had to pick one.
I still don’t know why she was DNW-est. I can’t see it at all. Poor mano.
I just wanted to get one thing straight. ManoEri doesn’t sing and dance at the same time. She hardly dances at all, S/mileage does most of the work for her in that department. Though I guess she is good at “playing” the piano, if that’s what you want to call it.
You should visit nihongogo.com forums sometime. A lot of those people are ex-H!P fans who “converted” to AKB. XD
They’ll give you plenty of reasons for AKBtards hating on H!P (Koha? Mitsui? Firing the entire Elder Club?) because they were “on the inside” of H!P fandom back in the day.
As they say, familiarity breeds contempt.
I actually have seen many MANY AKB fans who hate Momusu, and I think they’re basically the ones who were Momusu fans themselves in the very first place. They didn’t find what they want in Momusu and started loving AKB while releasing their frustration hating on Momusu :) at least that what’s I think.
