My journey in simple words

I’ve had the honour of writing for PleasurePrincipled which is totally brilliant but its writing about a topic that I joke around but something that I take pretty seriously. Ray asked me to write about my journey about junior idols from where I resisted them to where I am having an obsurd fondness of them. Writing this had hard, yet funny moments but this was a good overall experience. I learnt more about myself while reminising about the crazy journey I had in the past year. But I need to thank Ray for giving me the incentive because I’ve been wanting to write this for a while.

- Says a lot about how strong my principals were haha.

You can read my essay here.

Oh and about the above image, you can rank your favourite idols for 2009 on Hello! Blog. Paul Thomas designed last years rankings really well and he’s totally stepped it up this year!

  • I must say, it was a little surprising to see Captain ranked above Maeda Yuuka. XD Nice selection of members. :Db
  • I love Captain, her exotic dance moves are ranked in my heart higher than Yuuka's stomach....even though her stomach looks so inviting...

But I have yet to see Captain's stomach...

Your Pleasure Principled essay was amazing. Yes, I've long fought the idea of becoming a fan of Hello! Project's junior groups, but their skills, coaching and cheoreographic brilliance are simply too much to ignore. Your analyses are dead-on point.

I apologize for these back-to-back posts, but regarding Hello!Blog's outstanding new poll, I did rank the Captain in my top 10. No doubt Saki is among the top dancers in the world, second only to Maimi of C-ute.
  • On your P² essay, it was a rather insightful exploration into a rather, somewhat, touchy subject. And I want to say you did well to swear off Junior Idols for so long XD Oh, nice poll choices and nice blog :D
